INVEST IN STRONG COMMUNITIES
We deserve good roads, clean water, and reliable city services, but cuts to local government funding and the elimination of the estate tax have forced middle-class taxpayers to pick up the tab. Casey will protect the services we rely on without raising our taxes.
STAND UP FOR OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Giveaways to unaccountable charter schools hurt our kids. As Councilman, Casey spearheaded innovative partnerships to raise funds for schools, and he will always fight to make sure every student receives the best education possible.
PUT NORTHEAST OHIO BACK TO WORK
We need to attract good-paying 21st century jobs to our communities. Casey will use his technology and business development experience to bring the jobs of the future to workers here at home.
A Legacy of Service:
I grew up in a family committed to service. My grandfather, father, brother, brother-in-law, wife Amanda and I all served or are serving in the armed forces. That legacy led me to become engaged in my community and to pursue public office in Hudson. My greatest passion is to be a part of making a positive impact for my fellow Ohioans, and I will be relentless in my efforts to fight for you.
An Ohioan by Choice:
Although the U.S. Air Force brought me and Amanda to Ohio, we chose to stay and make a life here. Maybe it was all those games rooting on the Buckeyes from the student section of Ohio Stadium? We love our state, and we want to spend our lives contributing to all of the things that make Ohio great.
A Bipartisan Mindset:
I recognize that the only way to make real change is through collaboration. I am a Democrat who likes to get things done! I have a bipartisan record -- I interned for my Republican Congresswoman in High School, served on Ohio Republican Congressman Steve Austria’s Blue Ribbon Commission for Economic Development, and I have been serving on U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s Service Academy Nomination panel since 2008. I will work to build bridges between parties to push through the change we need.
